Kathmandu, March 17: Partly to generally cloudy weather has been forecasted in the hilly areas of the country due to low-pressure system developed at Bihar of India and its surrounding areas.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather in the hilly areas of the country would remain partly cloudy due to this system while the rest of the places would be clear.
The Division has also requested the people to take precautions to avoid the possible effects of heat as mercury is rising across the nation.
According to the latest details of the Division, today's minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 13.6 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature at 29.5 degrees Celsius.
The lowest temperature has been recorded at 4.6 degrees Celsius in Jumla and the highest temperature at 33 degrees Celsius in Bhairahawa today.
