By Tika Bahadur Basnet, Dang, May 31: Nepali Congress candidate Drigh Narayan Panday got elected as the National Assembly member from Lumbini Province.
Pandey got 4140 vote weightage against his rival Chandra Bahadur Khadka, a candidate from the ruling CPN-UML, who secured only 3612 vote weightage in the by-election for the NA member, according to Gehendra Kunwar, information officer at the Province Election Office.
