By Shaligram Nepal, Chitwan, Sept. 10: Yet another COVID-19 death has been recorded in Chitwan, which takes the district COVID-19 death count to 24.
Dr. Daya Ram Lamsal, Director of the Chitwan Medical College, said, “A male aged 62, from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11, died today at 12:20 am while receiving treatment in the Chitwan Medical College.”
The person was admitted in the hospital on September 5 as he suffered had difficulty in breathing.
He tested positive for COVID-19 on September 7, according to the hospital, he died as his respiratory problems deteriorated.
He was undergoing treatment in ventilator as per the press brief released by the hospital.
