Kavrepalanchowk, Sept 22 : A woman of Panauti municipality-5, Chaukot died at the Dhulikhel Hospital on Monday evening due to coronavirus infection.
With this the death toll from coronavirus infection has reached five in Kavrepalanchowk.
Member-secretary of the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Post and District Health Office Chief Dr Narendra Jha said the 50-year-old infected woman breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Hospital following 19 days.
The intestine-cancer patient had been receiving chemotherapy at the Medicity Hospital before coming to the Dhulikhel Hospital, Dr Jha added.
As of now, two of Panauti municipality, one of Panchkhal municipality and two of Dhulikhel municipality have lost their lives to the deadly virus in the district.
