Makawanpur, March 31 : An elderly person died after falling from a local cliff at Raksirad rural municipality in Makawanpur district.
The District Police Office, Makawanpur confirmed the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Bhim Bahadur Praja, 70, informed Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP), Jayashwor Rimal.
According to DSP Rimal, the elderly died after falling from Silingche cliff last night while he was heading to a nearby forest for taking bushfire under control.
The mortal body of Praja has been already taken to Hetauda Hospital for post-mortem, said the District Police Office Makawanpur.
Deceased Praja is the father of ward chair Singha Bahadur Praja.
