London, July 1 : The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has extended financial assistance of Rs 2,260,000 to the Narayani Hospital.
The assistance amount provided by the Non-Resident National Coordination Council Japan was handed to construct a child ICU ward in the hospital, shared Council Japan’s Spokesperson Siddhartha Shrestha.
Earlier, the Council had approached the Hospital Management Committee with a proposal of collaboration with Narayani Hospital. The setup of Child ICU has gained momentum after the Hospital Management Committee endorsed the proposal.
Former Chairperson of NRNA had handed over the assistance amount along with other materials to NRNA central treasurer Mahesh Shrestha at the office of the National Council Japan.
On the occasion, acting Chief Medical Superintendent of Narayani Hospital, Dr Birendra Bahadur Pradhan extended gratefulness to the NRNA for its continuous support to Nepal in emergency.
