Kathmandu, April 1: The Nepal Oil Corporation has slashed the price of diesel, petrol and kerosene by Rs 10 per litre each effectively from Wednesday midnight.
However, price of cooking gas remains unchanged, said NOC's spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyaya. The price decrement follows price fall of petroleum products in the international market, NOC said.
As per new price adjustment, diesel and kerosene will be sold for Rs 85 per litre and petrol Rs 96. Likewise, price of aviation turbine fuel (domestic flights) has been decreased by Rs 15 per litre to Rs 75.
Aviation turbine fuel (international flights) price is adjusted to USD 0.95 per litre, said Upadhyaya.
