Siddharthanagar, Oct 15 : Newly appointed member secretary of the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT), Sanu Raja Shakya pledged to complete the Lumbini master plan on time.
Assuming office on Wednesday, he said he would do his best to develop Lumbini as a smart city. The government recently appointed him as a member secretary of the LDT for a four-year term.
Welcoming Shakya, Vice Chairperson of the LDT, Ven. Metteyya Sakyaputta said the appointment would play an important role in completing the master plan that started 40 years ago.
Information officer at the LDT, Gyanin Rai expressed the hope that service at the LDT would be delivered effectively following the appointment of its member secretary.
