By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Mar. 12: Nepali Samaj, Germany has canceled this year's Nepal Day celebrations due to Coronavirus.
The 6th Nepal Day was scheduled to be held on April 18 in Frankfurt.
Issuing a press statement, Nepali Samaj stated that the event of Nepal Day would not take place this year as the coronavirus had reached Europe, including Germany, and the number of infected people was increasing steadily.
Talking to The Rising Nepal, Samaj's chairman Shiva Adhikari said that the Day would not take place this year but they would organise another major event in coming autumn.
