Kathmandu, Feb 26: Nepali Congress leader Nabindra Raj Joshi has suffered a stroke. He was rushed to the Bir Hospital last night after he complained of health complications before taking him to the Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital for further treatment, according to the family source.
According to hospital executive director Rajendra Bahadur Singh, Joshi had reached the hospital at 2:30 am and he underwent a surgery for a stroke at around 4:00 am today.
A medical team led by neurosurgeon Dr Rajib Jha carried out the operation on Joshi. Health condition of 57-year-old former industry minister is said to be stable.
