Bajhang, Feb 16 : Needy families at two local governments here have been given blankets.
The Progressive Youth Society and World Vision worked collaboratively to arrange relief assistance to 200 people each at Jayaprithvi Municipality and Kedarsyu Rural Municipality, according to World Vision's executive director Labaraj Joshi.
The organisation had also distributed food which included pulse and rice, and sanitary and health materials at the community level during the COVID-19 crisis.
Aalikuli Rokaya, one of beneficiaries of Jayaprithvi Municipality, said it was a great relief for her to get such assistance at hard times.
Both organisations are working together in coordination with local levels for the quality education, and livelihood and the protection of children at vulnerable zones.
