Lahan, Dec 9 (RSS):
Two persons died when a motorcycle and an ambulance collided at Golbazar Municipality-4 in Siraha district along the East-West Highway today.
The deceased have been identified as pillion rider Bishnu Mahara, 35, of Sarswar in Siraha Municipality-12 and Rakesh Mandal, 24, according Area Police Office, Gol Bazar.
Mahara died on the spot while Mandal died on the way to Hospital, shared Police Inspector Janak Puri.
The incident took place when a motorcycle (Sa 6 Pa 8062) coming to west from east direction collided head-on with the ambulance (Sa 1 Cha 693) coming from the opposite direction.
The bodies have been kept at Ram Kumar Umaprasad Memorial Hospital at Lahan for post mortem, police said. Further investigation into the case was underway.
