By Manoj Bhattarai, Okhaldhunga, Mar. 18: The dead body of a woman who went missing at Molung Rural Municipality-5, Okhaldhunga a week ago has been recovered Wednesday from the dam of Molung Khola Hydropower Project.
A local, Bhumari Lama said that the body of Tom Kumari Ghimire, who went missing on March 11 has been recovered at the place where water is procured to produce electricity of hydropower.
The officials of the hydropower immediately informed the police after recovering the dead body of the missing at the regular follow-up of the site.
The police after reaching the location immediately took out the body from the water and sent it for the postmortem at Rumjatar Hospital.
Tankanath Dahal, chair of ward n. 5 has put an assumption that she would have fallen into the water as she used to frequently consume alcohol.
The family had immediately informed the police after the woman got missing. Police have further informed that the reason for the death will come to light only after the postmortem result.
