Kathmandu, Apr. 15: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung on Thursday bade farewell to the "Three Sisters on Seven Summit Campaign Team' by handing them the national flag of Nepal.
Nima Jangbu Sherpa, 30, Tshiring Namge Sherpa, 26, and Dawa Futi Sherpa, 24, of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9 in Dolakha district are scheduled to climb all seven tallest peaks of the seven continents.
The Sherpa sisters have planned to scale the seven peaks within three years.
Bidding farewell to the climbers, Minister Gurung, who is also the Spokesperson of the government, pledged full support and solidarity on behalf of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to make their feat a success.
