Kaski, Jan 14: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanubhakta Dhakal on Thursday made an inspection visit of under-construction Pokhara Regional International Airport.
On the occasion, Minister Dhakal took stock of the runway, terminal building and taxi parking area among other infrastructures.
The Airport Project Chief Binesh Munakarmi briefed the minister about the ongoing progress in the construction of the airport.
After inspecting the site, Minister Dhakal directed the officials to complete the tasks in the stipulated time.
Minister Dhakal said that he was committed to completing the project in the given deadline.
Munakarmi shared that they were working to complete the project by June 10 of this year.
The construction of runway, internal and external terminal buildings, air traffic control tower, taxiway, isolated parking areas and hanger apron among others have been completed so far.
After taking charge of the ministry recently, Minister Dhakal had also visited the under-construction Gautam Buddha International Airport.
