Nepalgunj, Oct 11 : A joint market monitoring team has found four meat shops in Nepalgunj market operating without registration at the concerned authorities.
The team monitored eight shops on Thursday.
The four shops have been directed to submit shop registration certificate within the next three days, according to Commerce Supplies and Consumer Protection Office, Nepalgunj Chief Krishna Prasad Poudel. Likewise, one shop that was found without renewal of the registration was ordered to do so within the next three days.
The monitoring was carried out following public complaints about rise in price of meat in the local market. Likewise, many shops were found without updated price list and not certifying weighing tools from the concerned office, Poudel.
