By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Apr. 11: A body of a young man was recovered from a hotel at Mitranagar near the new bus park of Kathmandu on Sunday.
The body of Narayan Bahadur Gharti Chhetri of Syangja was found at 10 p.m. on Saturday, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Roshan Khadka of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj.
Police said that the identity of the deceased was revealed on the basis of the photocopy of his citizenship. He, however, mentioned his identify as Raju Chhetri. He had booked room number 204 of the hotel.
According to the police, the victim's knee was injured but no such thing was seen in other parts of the body. The cause of death will be known only after post-mortem, police said. The body has been sent to Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for post-mortem.
Police have arrested two youths for investigating into the case. The arrestees were identified as Rajkumar Gaha and Jhakkuram Basnet, who were staying at the hotel with Gharti. As no such injury was seen on his body, further details will be known only after the autopsy, said the police.
