Banke, Oct 16 : A COVID-19 infected man died in Banke the today morning.
The deceased man, 33, of Chaurjahari Municipality in Rukum district died at Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur in course of treatment.
The man, who was admitted to the hospital on October 7, was tested positive for the infection on October 8, said Naresh Shrestha, corona focal person at the district health office, Banke.
The process to manage the body of the deceased was underway in coordination with the relatives and the hospital, said Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurumbang.
So far, Banke district recorded 27 deaths from the infection with 13 at the hospital.
