Butwal, May 14 : Fourteen people have died of Covid-19 in Dang and Banke districts of Lumbini province.
Among the victims are six from Dang and eight from Banke.
In Banke, five died at the Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj, two at the Teaching Hospital Kohalpur and one in home isolation, focal person at the District Covid Crisis Management Centre, Tej Oli, said.
With this the toll from Covid-19 in Banke district has reached 222 so far. Among them 167 are from districts other than Banke who had come for treatment in Banke.
Similarly, six more coronavirus infected people have died in Dang. Among the dead, five are from Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City and one from Ghorahi.
The death toll from Covid-19 has reached 97 in Dang district in the month of Baisakh alone, the District Covid Crisis Management Centre, Dang stated.
