Kanchanpur, May 2 : Most of the quarantines established by local levels in the district are gradually getting empty. Those staying in quarantines were new entrants from adjoining Indian cities and they now have returned homes after completing quarantine period.
Out of nine quarantines, now there are only 86 persons staying in four quarantines while others returned home after they were tested negative for COVID-19.
According to District Administration Office, Kanchanpur, administrative officer Krishnanada Joshi, there are 540 beds in nine quarantines but most of them are getting empty as no new case of coronavirus was witnessed of late.
He further shared that a total of 1,719 persons who had stayed in different quarantines were tested COVID-19.
Meanwhile, as many as 22,569 households which are daily wage earners have been provided relief so far in the district.
