Kavrepalanchowk, Jan 2: The local governments in the Kavrepalanchowk district have started ordering the closure of schools with increasing cold weather.
Three local levels in the district have already ordered schools in their area to close for a week following the fall in mercury caused by the rainfall four days back.
Temal Rural Municipality has ordered the community and institutional schools being run within its area to close for a week beginning today, citing difficulty conducting classes due to the freezing cold.
The Roshi Rural Municipality and Dhulikhel Municipality have already ordered schools to close for a week from last Friday and Thursday respectively.
