Kathmandu, March 25: The weather will be lightly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and there is a possibility of light rain coupled with thunder and lightning in some places today due to the impact of the westerly low-pressure system.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology shared that thunderstorms, lightning and light rain are expected in hilly areas of Province No 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Sudurpaschim Province. The weather will be generally clear in the remaining parts of the country.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in a couple of places in the hilly areas of Province No 1, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province. The sky in these places will remain partly to generally cloudy, according to the Department.
According to the latest details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 14.0 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 29.2 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, the lowest temperature is of Jumla at 3.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of Dhangadhi at 36.2 degrees Celsius.
