Damauli, June 30 : Incessant rain-triggered landslides have disrupted the Prithvi Highway at Myagde-based Tharpu in Tanahun district. The torrential caused landslides throwing the highway traffic at Myagde-4 out of gear since early this morning.
Sub Inspector of Tharpu, Krishna Bahadur Baniya informed that the highway got disrupted when a 12-wheeler large vehicle stuck in the muddy road.
“Though landslide continued, light vehicles were plying on the highway. The 12-wheeler got stuck when it was arbitrarily taken to the muddy road”, he said.
However, efforts are underway to remove the landslides debris and resume the traffic operations.
