Manma, June 15 : The Karnali Highway has been disrupted due to incessant rains for the past three consecutive days.
The monsoon-triggered landslides hit the Surkhet-Jumla section along the Highway at several locations, bringing the traffic to a total halt.
Landslides have been reported in Kitu of Dailekh, Gaganekhola, Hulma, Sunar Khola, Pili Serabada, Khallagad and Bhigma of Kalikot.
Chief District Officer of Kalikot, Krishna Prasad Acharya, said continuous rains have made their efforts to clear off the landslide depositions futile.
Vehicles en route to Kalikot, Jumla and Mugu carrying daily essentials and construction materials have been stranded on the midway.
