By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 20: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday confirmed 767 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.
In 9,584 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as 767 persons, 305 females and 462 males, were found with the novel coronavirus infection in the Valley itself, revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.
Of the 767 new cases, 602 cases including 230 females and 372 males were detected in Kathmandu, 101 cases including 41 females and 60 males were found in Bhaktapur and 64 cases including 34 females and 30 males were recorded in Lalitpur.
Moreover, some 1,325 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed across the nation on Sunday, taking the national tally to 64,122 including 46,233 cases of recovery and 411 death cases.
