Sindhupalchowk, Sept 21 : The Jhyadi-Deurali road section as part of Chautara-Narayantar has gained pace.
The road up-gradation was taken ahead to address the compulsion for the public to travel through 84-km from Chautara to Kathmandu for over a decade.
The up-gradation of Jhyadii-Deurali section under the Chautara (Sindhupalchowk)-Narayantar (Kathmandu) stretch began on Sunday.
Bagmati State Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Rameswor Phuyal and Minister for Social Development Yubaraj Dulal jointly inaugurated the road up-gradation project.
The project contract was awarded to Pacific Engineering Company Pvt Ltd Kathmandu.
According to the contract, the project would be completed within 13 October 2022.
As shared the estimated cost of the project is Rs 467.34 million while the contracted amount is Rs 294.98 million.
