Baitadi, Nov 18 (RSS):
Jhulaghat transit point in Baitadi district bordering India is to be shut for four days.
The District Administration Office Baitadi said the transit point is to be closed from November 22 to 25.
The checkpoint is to be shut in view of the security sensitivity related to Legislative Assembly elections taking place in India. The border transit will be closed till 5 pm on November 25.
Officiating Chief District Officer Lokendra Singh Negi said the border transit point however could be opened with mutual understanding in case of emergency during the period it remains shut.
Jhulaghat transit was closed for three days from October 3 to 5 before this during the District Panchayat and Gram Panchayat elections in Pithoragadh District of India.
