Kathmandu, July 14: Ambassador of India to Nepal, Vinay Mohan Kwatra has congratulated Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. The Indian ambassador reached Deuba's residence at Budhanilkantha today and congratulated him. He also extended best wishes to the newly-appointed Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
In the meeting, PM Deuba, who is also looking after the portfolio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recalled the age-old friendly relations between the two countries and also thanked the ambassador for the congratulations.
Nepali Congress president and the party's parliamentary party leader, Deuba, was appointed the Prime Minister on Tuesday. He had assumed office after taking the oath of office and secrecy on Tuesday itself
