Myagdi, Dec 31 : Myagdi’s Raghuganga rural municipality has selected the site for a hospital construction through voting in its municipal assembly.
The ninth municipal assembly held on Wednesday in Mauwafant decided to upgrade the health post based in ward-1 (Beg) to a 10-bed hospital through majority voting.
Voting was adopted as a measure to take a decision on the construction of the hospital when the people’s representatives remained undecided about the construction site.
Chief administrative officer Amrit Subedi shared that a majority of the assembly members decided to construct the hospital at Beg.
It may be noted that the Ministry of Health and Population had also chosen Raghuganga-1, Beg under its ‘one local level, one hospital program’.
