Kathmandu, Sept 23: The meeting of the House of Representatives has commenced amid the protest by the main opposition CPN (UML).
UML lawmakers went up to the well to picket it soon after Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota announced the start of the session.
The Speaker went ahead with the topics of the meeting agenda even as the main opposition party MPs continued the obstruction not heeding to the Speaker's repeated requests for allowing the House to carry on its business.
Today's meeting of the Lower House of the Federal Parliament has the agenda of holding discussions on and passing the Finance Bill, 2021 and the Bill Related to Mobilize Internal Loan, 2021.
