By Sher Bahadur Sarki, Bajura, Feb. 5: Heavy snowfall that started from Thursday night in Bajura has affected people's lives in Swamikartik, Himali, and Jaganath Rural Municipalities and Budhinanda, Chededaha Tribeni, Budhiganga, Badimalika Municipalities of the north-east region in the district.
Transportation service from Martadi Bajura Headquarters to Kolti has been halted due to the snowfall. "As thick snow has been accumulated in the roads, the transportation service has been halted," said Prem Rokaya, a local jeep driver.
Meanwhile, the farmers have been elated due to the heavy snowfall after a long time. As the crops planted in winter were about to dry, we are relieved now, said Pune Rawat of Budhiganga Muicipality-2, Mustola.
"The farmers of Badimalika, Tribeni Budhiganga, Chededaha area, and so forth have been excited and happy due to the snowfall," he said.
