Doti, Sept 24 : A non-governmental organisation has distributed health materials worth Rs 450,000 to different schools that reopened after a long gap of the COVID-19 pandemic in Doti district.
The organisation known as Manabiya Sewama Anekau Prayas (Multiple efforts in humanitarian service) distributed surgical mask and sanitizer to the students of Namadev Secondary School, Kali Bhairab Secondary School, Prabhat Secondary School, Laxmi Secondary School and Kalikasthan Secondary School in Adarsha Rural Municipality in Doti.
Organisation's Chairman Bhaktaraj Joshi said that five schools and a health post were supported to help reduce the risk of coronavirus infection in the locality under its COVID-19 Relief Support, and Care and Relief Project.
Likewise, the organisation provided one oxygen concentrator, nebulizer, thermal gun, oxy-pulse machine and two PPE sets to Lamikhal Health Post in Adarsha Rural Municipality-5.
The beneficiary schools have praised the support extended to the students. The organisation has been working in the areas of health care, disaster reduction, income generation and others in different local levels in Sudurpaschim Province.
