Hetauda, April 23: The major opposition Nepali Congress has blamed the State government for not being serious in addressing people’s problem during the ongoing lockdown.
Talking to media person here today, NC leader and Bagmati State Assembly main opposition party leader Indra Bahadur Baniya said that the relief distribution was not effective as it was guided by political faith as well.
He added that a large section of workers are still compelled to walk on foot to reach their hometowns due to shortage of food stuff in the city.
Baniya argued that the government even has not managed vehicles to reach them to their destinations.
Baniya further said the government was even failing to manage coronavirus testing kits in various parts. He urged the government to bring all sides in confidence to work together to combat COVID-19.
