Kathmandu, Oct. 29: The Gokarneshwor Municipality located in the north east outskirt of Kathmandu Valley has so far recorded coronavirus on 1,209 people. Among them, 667 are men and 592 women, according to health section of the municipality.
Among the total infection, 843 persons have recovered their normal health. Nine men and eight women lost lives to the COVID-19 in the municipality, according to spokesperson at municipality, Manoj Kumar Dhungana.
Currently, the number of active cases stands at 399. Similarly, 203 men and 176 women have been staying in home isolation while nine men and 11 women are receiving treatment at hospital-based isolation.
The municipality further informed that four men and a woman are in ICU. So far, 2,932 persons have undergone PCR tests here
