Janakpurdham, Aug. 23: A medical team deputed at Ganguli COVID-19 quarantine center in Dhanusha district has been summoned to the State Hospital Janakpurdham after the team was alleged of shirking duty.
It may be noted that a video suggesting cleaning workers, instead of medical workforce, conducting the COVID-19 tests of quarantine dwellers was made public on social network. COVID-19 Dhanusha coordinator Dr Jamun Prasad Singh said the entire team of medicos assigned in the facility has been called back to Janakpurdham for investigation into the incident.
‘’We are highly concerned over the video, and the facts surrounding it will be made public soon after investigation,’’ he underscored.
A new team will be going to the quarantine today itself to bridge the vacuum.
