Ranjha, June 6 : For COVID-19 infected people have died during treatment in different hospitals of Banke last night. Two patients died in Bheri hospital in Nepalgunj, one in Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur and one in the United Hospital, Nepalgunj, according to District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre.
The deceased include a 39-year-old man from Bansgadhi municipality-8, Bardia, 55-year-old man from Thakurbaba municipality-8, Bardia, 33-year-old woman of Baijanath rural municipality-3, Banke and 45-year-old woman of Nepalgunj sub-metropolis-1, said resource person at the centre Tej Oli.
The death toll due to COVID-19 has now reached 313 people from outside the district and 302 from within Banke.
The rate of infection and fatality in Banke district has however declined in the past week.
