Baitadi, March 16 : Police in Baitadi has held four persons for their alleged involvement in a murder case. They were held on charge of murder of Ramesh Karki, 35, of Lekam Rural Municipality-1, Darchula.
Police Inspector Khagendra Saud of Area Police Office Gokuleshwor said that the identity of the arrested ones could not be revealed since the case is being investigated.
Police Inspector Saud said that the case is under investigation.
Karki's dead body was recovered last Saturday in Chaulani river along the Baitadi and Darchula districts. He had gone to Gokuleshwor to attend Shivaratri fair on Friday and a search for him was initiated as he did not return home that day.
Baitadi Police has suspected Karki's murder as wounds were seen in several parts of the body.
Karki's body is still in Gokuleshowr Hospital as the relatives have not received the body though the postmortem was already completed.
