Tulasipur, Nov 22 : Former Chairperson of then Urahari Village Development Committee in Dang district, Resham Bahadur Bhandari has passed away. Seriously injured after falling off a chair on Saturday evening, Bhandari died the same night during treatment.
The 76-year-old, a resident of Tulasipur sub-metropolis-11 had sustained serious head injuries in the fall and died at the Rapti provincial hospital, Tulasipur, according to ward no 11 member Subas Dangi.
Bhandari had served as the Chair of the then Urahari VDC and also the Pradhanpancha of the Gaon Panchayat.
He was also the Nepali Congress Chair of Dang constituency no. 4. He is survived by his four sons.
