Inaruwa, Nov 7 : Four people have been arrested along with fire crackers from the Puspa Lal chowk in ward no. 8 of Itahari sub-metropolis, Sunsari.
Those arrested are Satam Ansari,22, Dinesh Ram, 20, Ranjit Sardar,30, and Shanta Kumari Chaudhary,32, of the locality, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police of Sunsari Narendra Kumar Karki. They were arrested on Friday.
They were arrested after being found selling the fire crackers that were smuggled into the country from neighbouring India.
Police also confiscated four sacks of fire crackers along with a motorcycle and tempo used to transport them.
