Phungling, Feb 7 : Flights at Suketar airport in Taplejung district have been continuously obstructed today due to bad weather condition and snowfall, said the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC). As a result, flights to and from the district have been cancelled standing 14 passengers who booked tickets for Kathmandu, said Lokendra Limbu, station in-charge of the NAC in Taplejung.
On Friday, flights at the airport were obstructed due to the deposition of snow on the runway, he said. The NAC has been operating flights from the airport three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
