By Amar Raj Naharki, Tanahun, Mar. 15: Two Indian nationals have been injured when a truck carrying marbles met with an accident at Jalbire, Ghashikuwa, Vyas Municipality-12 in Tanahun district along the Prithivi highway.
According to the Dolendra Bahadur Hamal, Chief at the Traffic Police Office, Tanahun, the truck (RJ 14 GJ 7126) coming from India to Damauli met with an accident at around 12:30 pm on Monday and injured the truck driver, Ashok Kumar Rajput, aged 41 from Uttar Pradesh India and bus conductor, Harindra Singh, aged 28 of the same place.
Hamal said that the truck overturned after getting out of control, and caught fire, thereby injuring the driver and bus conductor.
Both the injured are receiving treatment at the Ratnahari Hospital of Damauli.
The fire was brought under control with the help of the fire brigade of Vyas Municipality. The front part of the truck was further damaged by the fire.
