Hetauda, April 16: Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Poudel has said the farmers would be motivated to continue agricultural production during the ongoing lockdown.
Taking to chiefs of local levels via video conference today, CM Poudel suggested that farmers could be involved in productive sectors by maintaining the social distance even in lockdown period.
He inquired about the adverse effects of lockdown and praised the role of local levels in implementing the lockdown enforced by the government to contain coronavirus.
CM Poudel also urged the local levels to prepare the strategy to combat the COVID-19 and continue the production activities. The budget should be used transparently in each sector even in reaching the relief materials to the needy people,” Poudel said.
