Janakpur, Mar 24: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the ruling parties will forge an electoral alliance on the basis of a win-win principle.
At a news conference in Janakpur today, Chairman Nepal added that discussions were on to that end.
Chairman Nepal also mentioned that the ruling parties were sincere for the electoral alliance by recognising their dignity, respect and position while adding that there was no dispute regarding the alliance in the upcoming local level polls.
He, however, said his party was not worried about the position of alliance. "Each party should be ready to contest the polls on its own strength and power," according to Chairman Nepal.
Chairman Nepal was of the view that the incumbent coalition government would hold the three levels of elections and there will be no changes in the coalition government though some ministers were replaced.
Asked about the possibility of an alliance of his party with the CPN (UML) in the upcoming polls, Chairman Nepal ruled out such chances all due to UML leaders' politicking.
