Kathmandu, June 21: Ex-Gandaki Boarding Students’ Association-EGBOSA Kathmandu, distributed medical essentials to the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharjung, today morning for the prevention of COVID-19.
The essentials were handed over by Dr Suzita Hirachan, President of EGBOSA Kathmandu to the Hospital Executive Director of Teaching Hospital, Dr Rohit Pokhrel.
Prof Paleswan Joshi Lakhey, Prof Ramesh Singh Bhandari, Dr Pramesh Sundar Shrestha, Krishna Gurung and Raju Mrigendra Joshi were present during the handover.
The essentials included N-95 masks, sanitizer, surgical masks, face shields and sanitizer dispensers, which would be beneficial for the frontline healthcare workers to fight the COVID-19.
Recently, Egbosa Kathmandu had donated medical essentials to Bir Hospital and are planning to donate to Lumbini in next phase.
Egbosa Kathmandu has been continuously providing scholarships to deserving students in various parts of Nepal and is involved in many social causes.
