Bajura, Nov 18 : Educational materials were distributed to inmates languishing at the district prison with support from Badimalika municipality in coordination with Samarjeet Battalion.
Organizing a programme at the prison premises on Sunday, the Samarjeet Battalion Thapathali Barrack handed educational materials, including copy, pen, marker and white board to the jailbirds.
Battalion Commander Rabin Shrestha shared that the materials were distributed to serve the objective of increasing literacy of illiterate jailbirds.
Jailer Sher Bahadur Tiruwa said the education materials provided by the Nepal Army battalion would help enhance literacy level of inmates.
Meanwhile, an integrated mobile camp was organized at Jagannath rural municipality of the district on Sunday to ensure smooth delivery of the state's administrative service.
The camp was organized by Jagannath rural municipality with coordination support from the District Administration Office Bajura.
The camp had provided services related to health test, disability identity card and citizenship certificates. The camp was organized at Juddi, the centre of the rural municipality, informed rural municipality's employment coordinator Laxman Joshi.
