Damauli, Feb 6 : Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha has expressed concern over the failure to provide incentive allowance to the doctors of Damauli Hospital. He expressed his concern following a news report by the National News Agency (RSS) about the doctors not getting their due allowance.
"It is unfortunate that the front line doctors are not getting their salaries on time. After receiving detailed information from the concerned body, I will do my best to help,”he said.
Doctors working at Damauli Hospital have not received incentive allowance since Saun 2077 BS. According to sources at the hospital, Dr. Astha Regmi, Dr. Raju Ranamagar, Dr. Diwas Dhakal, Dr. Sunyan Subedi, Dr. Sinchan Pandey, Dr. Pooja Sainju, Dr. Prashant Karki, Dr.
Abhinandan Tiwari, Dr. Sanjeev Bhandari, Dr. Krishna Giri and Dr. Sushil BK working in the hospital have not received incentive allowance for 18 months.
The doctors had handed over a memorandum on the matter to the Chief District Officer last Friday.
