Kathmandu, Feb. 5: Comedians Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire are now preparing to return to the small screen.
They are popular as Dhurmus and Suntali among the television viewers in Nepal. However, after 2015 earthquake, they almost left the small screen and engaged in social activities like building houses for the quake victims.
Currently, they are constructing a cricket stadium in Chitwan.
Now they are preparing to return to the small screen through “Ma Ta Marchhu Ki Kya Ho” a television serial written and directed by Sitaram and Kunjana.
This is a Web series, and it has been filmed at various locations in Chitwan.
The series stars Sitaram Kattel, Kunjana Ghimire, Ravi Giri, Buddhi Tamang, Bijay Baral, Palpasa Dangol, Baldeep Rai, Suman Karki, Suman Koirala, Pramila Khanal and others.
They are preparing to make this series public through their own YouTube channel soon.
After doing the successful comedy serial “Meri Bassai”, Sitaram and Kunjana have become popular as Dhurmus and Suntali.
Last year, their film “Senti Virus” was released, but it failed to make the desired business because of COVID-19.
The film that had failed to attract audiences to the cinema theatres suffered further after the outbreak of COVID-19 and the prolonged lockdown. They even could not screen it abroad because of the pandemic.
