Kathmandu, April 20 : Major opposition party Nepali Congress’s (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has yet again underscored the need to accelerate expansion of scope of COVID-19 tests at community level given the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country of late.
Issuing a press statement here today, Deuba opined that the incumbent government should put in place adequate medical goods and relief packages so as to prevent possible worse circumstances.
The former Prime Minister has appealed to the government and all the public not to do anything that hurts the sentiment and faith of certain communities.
Urging for mutual unity and communal amity at this hour, he called for patience and mutual goodwill among all communities and religious groups when the country as well the whole world was grappling with COVID-19 crisis.
He was of the belief that that we could tide over this health crisis in mutual cooperation and trust. ---
