Kathmandu, April 14: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has spoken of the need of unity among the Maoists and those Communist parties wanting change in the country.
In his address to a party programme at Khumaltar today, the leader urged political forces aspiring to contribute for a socialist revolution to get united.
"Regressive forces had a strategy of encircling the party, spreading misinformation about it and even finishing it off during the people's war," he said adding same forces were striving to inflict harm on the Maoist movement.
He took time to claim that the decision to split the Maoist party was not wrong though it was marred by internal conflicts.
