Chitwan, Oct 14: A man believed to be in his early 30s succumbed to injuries after being hit by a bus while he was cycling at Ratnanagar-3 in Chitwan district along the East-West Highway today morning.
The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. Critically injured in the incident, the man breathed his last at Bharatpur Hospital during the treatment.
The driver of the bus which knocked down the man has been absconding along with the bus following the incident. Search for the bus and bus driver was underway, police said.
